Representative forms of TExES and TExMaT tests have been developed by TEA and ETS. These Representative Tests are used at State Board for Educator Certification-approved EPPs throughout Texas and are designed exclusively to assist staff in measuring candidates' knowledge and skills in relation to the approved TExES and TExMaT test frameworks. They are also useful in preparing certification candidates for testing. The following Representative Tests are scheduled to be delivered in 2012.
A Representative Test CD-ROM includes:
To order a Representative Test, log in to the secure Administrator section, review and complete the User Agreement and the Order Form, and submit them with payment and a copy of your tax-exempt certificate (if applicable).
Total test scaled scores show how candidates performed on the test as a whole and whether they passed the test. Further data about total scores for many of the Texas tests is available in the Summary Statistics for Total Scores see below.
It is important to keep the mailing information for your institution current so materials can be sent to the proper person and location. Please send updates to OS_Internet@ets.org and be sure to update your TEA profile as necessary.
