the TASC and the TASC-ASL Preparation Manuals

The TASC and the TASC-ASL test preparation manuals are designed to help you prepare for both the TASC and the TASC-ASL tests. These newly designed web pages include detailed test descriptions, information about scoring, test-taking strategies and actual video clips of practice interview questions.

If you have a disability or health-related need and require test preparation materials in an alternate format, contact ETS Disability Services. ETS is committed to producing alternate formats (e.g., braille, recorded audio, reader's script, large print) as quickly as possible. Production times vary.

Test Preparation Manuals may not be reproduced for commercial use but the content may be copied for educational purposes. The Texas Education Agency (TEA) and the State Board for Educator Certification (SBEC) would appreciate credit for the material used and a copy of the reprint.

If you have any questions after reading the material in these manuals or you would like additional information about the TASC or the TASC-ASL tests or the educator standards, please visit the TEA website.

NOTE: These TASC and TASC-ASL preparation manuals are the only TASC and TASC-ASL test study materials endorsed by Texas Education Agency (TEA). Other preparation materials may not accurately reflect the content of the test or the policies and procedures of the TASC or the TASC-ASL programs.
